About the SAC and Skip Daum
Skip has collected art for 25 years… mostly sculptures and acrylics. After graduating Emerson College in Boston in 1967 with a BA in English, he served as a USAF Navigator flying airborne tankers and the giant C5 cargo plane internationally.
He then founded Capitol Communications Group, a legislative advocacy firm in Sacramento serving dozens of not-for-profit organizations for 50 years. After months touring Western States and 24 galleries, he landed in Sedona… the “art mecca” as he calls it. He is now a permanent resident and volunteers at the Heritage Museum.
He formed the Sedona Artists Consortium this year and decided to create the first-ever Sedona Sculptors Symposium. Other art forms will be featured in future events.
